Dear graduate students,
According to the “SJTU Notice on the summer holiday arrangement of 2025”, the semester registration of graduate students for 2025-2026 Autumn semester is hereby notified as follows:
1. Date and venue for semester registration and course start date
Time: September 14th, 2025
Venue: The registration should be performed online via My SJTU (http://my.sjtu.edu.cn, on smartphone it is交我办App.) For fulltime students, please complete your registration on SJTU campus. In case you cannot proceed with the online registration, please contact the graduate coordinator of your school or go to the graduate office of your school to complete the registration within the designated time frame.
If you are unable to register as scheduled due to special reasons please complete the leave procedure in advance at the graduate academic office of your school. After returning to SJTU, you should promptly go to the academic office of your school to complete the registration process.
Courses starting date: The graduate courses will start from Sept. 15th, 2025. Please check your course schedule for details.
2. Registration requirement
All the graduate students should complete the registration within the prescribed time period. Students who have completed their thesis filing and will graduate in September 2025 can be exempted from the semester registration.
1) Tuition and fees payment
For those who need to pay the tuition and/or other fees, please make the payment before the registration. Online payment website: http://apply.sjtu.edu.cn.
2) Students to graduate in September
Students who are expected to graduate on September 30th, 2025 can be exempted from the semester registration. However, those unable to meet graduation timelines should first apply for an extension of study duration via My SJTU (http://my.sjtu.edu.cn) and then proceed with the registration.
3) Students on suspension of schooling or resuming of schooling
Student whose current status is under “suspension of schooling” does not need to register. The students who need to resume schooling after suspension shall go through the resumption of schooling procedure via My SJTU (http://my.sjtu.edu.cn) (Postgraduate-Resume Schooling Application) first, and then proceed with the semester registration. Students who fail to complete the semester registration on time will be handled according to the regulations of academic management regulations..
3. Course Selection and Exam Retaking
Please check your Graduate Education Information Management System (http://yjs.sjtu.edu.cn/) online for course arrangements. Check your grades if GPA is over 2.7 and if you need to apply for retaking any exams.
1) Time for personal training plan adjustment:
From 9:00am Sept. 14th, 2025 to 20:00pm Sept. 28th, 2025, Beijing time.
2) Time for Course retake/re-examination applications:
From 9:00am Sept. 14th, 2025 to 20:00pm Sept. 26th, 2025, Beijing time.
3) Time for courses enrollment:
From 12:00am Sept. 15th, 2025 to 20:00pm Sept. 28th, 2025, Beijing time.
The specific time shall be subject to the notice of the graduate school or course selection system. Students in need should please log in http://yjs.sjtu.edu.cn in time to apply. After the application for retaking is approved, be sure to enter the retake course selection interface and choose the teaching class! The cumulative number of re-examinations for the same course cannot exceed 2 times. It is not allowed to change courses that have been completed (including courses that grades hasn’t been given) in the training program.
